Counterflow forced air circulation comfort heating system uses only outside air for combustion, as the burners are completely sealed within the combustion chamber. Combustion is discharged outdoors through the wall; this eliminates the expense of a chimney. All vent caps include a built in "Bird Guard". All vent material is included.
The practical choice for those areas where natural or propane gas is not convenient to install. It provides low cost, floor to ceiling comfort (31,400 Btu/hr), is thermostatically controlled, and is ideal for basements, garages and room additions.
Shipped assembled for installation on any exterior or interior wall. It may be recessed up to 5-3/8 inches (137 mm) with studs spaced 16 inches (406 mm) on center, or it may be mounted directly on the wall surface.
Rated for 9.2 kW (31,400 Btu) at 240 volts, single phase and 7.0 kW (23890 Btu) at 208 volts single phase
Works by drawing cool air in at the top grille inlet and pushing it with a fan downward over the heating element. Warm air is discharged into the room through the bottom grille outlet near the floor. The warm air at the floor creates a gentle convective process in the room, preventing stratification of warm air near the ceiling and ensuring comfort for the occupants.
Controlled by a wall mounted thermostat, which is provided. The unit is made of heavy gauge steel with a durable baked powder coat finish.
